I was having issues with IE 8 so I downloaded the latest version and now my license file is no longer valid. How do I rectify this error.

Hi,
You can get free upgrade within one year of the purchase. After one year you will need to place an upgrade order to use the new version. The cost to upgrade your version (2007.2) to the current version (2009) is $150. Please let us know if this is OK for you.
