Hello, I am conducting tests of the SpellChecker component in my application, and I've found that the StartButton doesn't fire in Safari or Google Chrome in an Ajax application. It does fire in IE and Firefox. Could you provide some guidance on what I'm doing wrong? I've tried Button, Image, and ImageButton. None of these work in Safari or Google Chrome. All work in IE and Firefox. Thanks.

Hi,

We are not aware of any such problem. Would you be able to provide a test page so that we can use to reproduce the problem?

Thanks

I think I know what it is. I am using an unlicensed version of the SpellChecker. When I load a UserControl dynamically in IE or Firefox, and it has the SpellChecker on it, I see a dynamic HTML popup that tells me I'm using an unlicensed version of the control. I have to refresh the page to get rid of the popup. But the page still works in IE and Firefox, even if I don't refresh the page.

On Google Chrome and Safari, I don't see the dynamic HTML popup the first time the page loads, but it's there apparently. Because when I refresh the page, everything works. So the dynamic HTML popup is interfering with Google Chrome and Safari event management, but it doesn't appear until I refresh the page. And that's not very intuitive. After I refresh the page, the dynamic HTML popup appears, and the page works. Seems backwards to me.

I hope this doesn't happen with the licensed version.

By the way, thanks for the responsive support.

Rob
