Hi,

I have installed the newest version of objects. During the installation I've received an error about the installer failed to add the EO toolbar to my 2008 vs environment and I have to add it manually.

Can I have the documentation on how to do that?

Thanks

Yes. Here you go:

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/installationanddeployment/install.aspx

You can also try to uninstall/reinstall it. The issue is related to Visual Studio. The installer calls Visual Studio to add the items and sometimes Visual Studio just fails to do that. If you try to install again it may install just fine.

Thanks!

Hi,

I have tried both method suggested. During reinstallation I have encountered the same error message. I tried to add the items manually by first creating a new toolbar then adding the items one by one, but the EO object assemblies do not appear on the object list.

Hi,

You definitely do not need to add them "one by one". So I am not sure where went wrong. We can take a look of your machine remotely if you are OK with it. We use GotoMeeting to do remote sessions, with which you can share your screen with us so that we can see what's going on. Please let us know if you would like us to do that.

Thanks!
