Progress Bar - Multiple Instances on one page, fired by one button Options

I have a number of threaded tasks that run server side. I want to track the progress of each one using separate Progress Bar controls on the same page. However when I set each of the Progress Bars' StartButton property to the single button control (one button starts all threads) only one ProgressBar fires. Is there a way to achieve what I am looking for?
