I'm putting this question in a new thread. Please see this test code below.
I'm not using the Javascript functions nor the ClientSideEndEdit handler.
I just have a CalbackPanel. The trigger is ScriptEvent1. If I change data in the grid, I want it to fire the ScriptEvent1_Command in my VB-codebehind. But it doesn't fire; something is missing.
Please help me understand what is supposed to happen when the ScriptEvent1 is the ControlID trigger in the CallbackPanel and what user behavior causes the ScriptEvent1_Command to be raised.
I have it working with the Javascript, but you mentioned having the ScriptEvent as the trigger and I want to understand what this does, when it does it and when/why one would use this.
