Hi,

As to your question:

Q1: The spellchecker is performed on the client side with AJAX. You can take a look how it works on our demo pages;

Q2: We use OpenOffice dictionary. It has dictionaries for close to 100 languages:

http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries

Q3: Our SpellChecker has nothing to do with MS Word. User does not need MS Word at all. So with or without MS Word is irrelevant;

Q4. Please see Q2. We support any language as soon as there is a dictionary available;

Q5. The license is forever. You do not need to renew it;

Thanks!
