Hello, I have a quick question about the EO menu.

I have a top menu that has one submenu associated with each top menu item. I am wondering if it is possible to do the following:

1. User hovers over top menu item, which expands the sub menu. The top level item that is currently being hovered over has its background color change.
2. User then hovers over an item in the submenu which causes the submenu's item background color to change.

Is it possible to revert the top menu items background color to it's original state when hovering over a submenu item? I.E. the top menu item is no longer seen as in the "hover" state?

Hi,

I do not believe that's possible. A menu item's state has to do with whether its direct sub menu is visible, but has nothing to do with whether a sub menu item's sub menu is visible.

Hello, thank you for the reply. I may not have been very clear in my question. Please look at the following image for an example of what I mean:



When hovered over Our Company it is fine. When someone hovers over Company Overview I would like "Our Company" to return to it's original state that has a white background so that it doesn't look as though two items are hovered over.

Does this make sense? There is only one Top menu and one sub menu. Top menu has the Our Company, and sub menu has Community Outreach, Compnay Overview, Contact Us and History.

I do understand your question. Unfortunately the answer is no. You can not do that. As long as your sub menu is visible, "Our Company" will be in "Selected" state.
