The file uploader that we use (2007.1) does not seem to work in the beta version of ie 8. Do you know if a later version works, or have any further information.

Hi, We have verified that our latest version does work with IE 8 RC1. The default progress bar however does not work correctly. You can use the uploader without a progress bar or use replace the default progress bar with a CSS based progress bar, such as this sample: http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Default.aspx?path=AJAXUploader\_i6To get more information about the progress bar, you can take a look of the progress bar samples: http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Default.aspx?path=ProgressBar\_i0http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Default.aspx?path=ProgressBar\_i1The first sample, which is image based, currently does not work with IE 8. Hi,
I have done this, but the error seems to be on the browse button, it does not show the browse button or the text box with the file path.

Hi,
Can you verify if the same problem occurs on our demo site? We have updated our demo site with the current build and verified that both the uploader and the progress bar works fine on IE 8. Note the progress bar previous did not work on IE 8, this has since been fixed.

Hi,
2007.1 was released well before IE 8 so it probably won't work. We know for sure the ProgressBar does not work. The latest version does work with IE 8. So you may wish to consider upgrading to the current version. We will PM you with more details.
