I have a version of eo web for asp.net 1.1. will i still be able to use the menu control when i upgrade my web application to 3.5?

Hi,
It would depend on your version. If you are using a version that was released before ASP.NET 2.0 was released then most likely you will not be able to use it. If you are using a newer version, you should have two EO.Web.dll files. One is for ASP.NET 1.1 and another is for ASP.NET 2.0 and above. You will need to switch the DLL once you converted your app to ASP.NET 3.5.

the menu is working in 3.5 but we are getting the nag message at the top of the page saying we need to have a license. we have copied the required license key to our global asa. This has been working in fine under 1.1.
right now we have the 2 dll in our bin folder. eo.web fro asp.net2.0 version 60512 and eo.web.nlib
Any help would be great....

Hi,
You cannot use your old license file on the new version. Each version of our controls requires a different license file. If you had a license for an old version and you wish to use the new version, then depending on the version you currently have, you may need to purchase a new license again (paying the full price), placing an upgrade order (paying less than price), or get a new license file for free.
