Maybe I missed this somewhere, is there a way to call the dialog from server side to show...like if a user enters an incorrect username or password.....

Like ... If login() =false then Dialog1.show or visible or something..thanks

Yes. You would do Dialog1.InitialState = EO.Web.DialogState.Visible.
