Hi, I have a third party menu control that is bloated and a real pain in the rear to work with. I am trying to recreate it using the EO menu control and having a problem with styling. I have it almost there except for a width problem. No matter what I do I cant seem to get it to fill the width. I have a couple of screenshots and a website sample I could send (the website is 1.9 meg so I would need an email address).

Thanks!

Brad

Hi,

You would mostly use MenuGroup.Width to customize the width for sub menu and Menu.Width to customize the width for menu.

We are not suppose to create menus for our users based on screenshots (otherwise everybody would just ask us to do their menu), or work on users project directly. However if you can isolate the problem into a single test page with detailed steps by step instruction on what you are expecting and how it is rendered differently than what you expected, we will be happy to take a look. If the test page also includes pictures, please include those as well. We will PM you as to where to send.

Thanks!

Hi,

We have looked into your test project. You will need to set the TopGroup’s ItemSpacing to 0. It has a non-zero default value (I believe 3). You can go to Menu Builder, then select Look Items -> _TopGroup, then change ItemSpacing to 0 on the right side.

Thanks!
