We are using AspxLab Menu Suite Standard for our application, but suddenly the menu is disappearing for some users in one of the installations.
Please, anyone.

By the way, it only happens when using Internet Explorer.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in the forum. This usually has to do with JavaScript being disabled, or JavaScript files are not correctly rendered. When it only occurs on IE, it is mostly like to do with JavaScript being disabled. So you may wish to check that.
Your version is a very old version (I believe it's almost three years old). Since we only provide one year "service period" with our product, we won't be able to do much with this issue. If the problem continues, you may want to take a look of the current version and see if the problem still occurs. Note that a separate license would be needed for the new version.
Thanks!

Thank you for your reply.
With Internet Explorer it works on some pages, but not on others, so the settings in IE should be ok. In other applications on the same server it's not a problem.
Since this version is an old one, it must be others that have experienced the same problem?

Hi,
I believe there had been similar issues for various reasons. Some had to do with server side code/configuration error, some had to do with IE settings, some had to do with the product itself, when a specific page layout or certain version of browser/OS service pack can cause certain problems. When the product is within the support period, we would look into the problem and see if it is something related to us, if it is, we will try our best to provide a workaround or a fix.
After the support period is expired, we usually would not mind to offer suggestions that we think maybe helpful (even though we are not obligated to), but we will not be able to look into it the specific problem because it is not practical for us to provide free support forever. In your case, since some page works and some other pages do not work, I would think comparing the working version with non-working version might help you to locate the trigger point.
Thanks!

Just for the record, this did the trick, but I'm not sure what element that needed to be deleted:
Close all windows in Internet Explorer. Start Internet Explorer, preferably a blank page. In the menu, select Tools -> Internet Options. On the general tab, under "Browsing history", click the Delete button. Click all the delete buttons, except for the "Delete passwords" if you want to save those. Then exit Internet Explorer, start it again and log in.
