Hi
I need some help with a license issue.
You provide to me license keys for EO.Web Controls 7.0 (2009) and EO.Web Controls 8.0 (2010).
I installed and i'm using EO.Web Controls 8.0 (2010) for development with no problems (and no license messages) but in destination server a license error appears: "License file 'C:\Extranet\Programa\bin\eo_web.licx' is not valid for this build."
I use a licx file generated in this way:
1. Click "My Orders"
2. Click "View" in a Licence column
3. Click "License Key for EO.Web Controls 8.0 (2010)" link
4. Click in "Redistribute Key" tab
5. Click in "Continue without restricting host name" link
6. Click in "Download License File" and download de file
7. Then i put the licx file in the bin folder of the project
The date of EO.Web.dll file is 08/26/2010.
I don't know what is wrong.

Hi,
Your order was placed on 7/11/2009 for EO.Web Controls 2009. It included a one year free upgrade (that's why you can download license file for EO.Web Controls 2010). However the free upgrade ends on 7/11/2010. As a result, your license file will not work for any builds made after 7/11/2010 (It works forever for builds made before that date). Your DLL is newer than that date, thus it does not work with your license file.
You can either upgrade to the current version (the current upgrade price is $105). Or roll back your DLL to an older build. If you upgrade to the current version, then you will be able to use the newest build for another year and also use all the new controls in 2010. If you prefer to roll back to an older build, please let us know so that we can provide you the download link for the latest build before your upgrade cut off date.
